After the fail of ImpactBBDO Lebanese blues ad, here comes Publicis with its Child sexual abuse ad.
@cyn3k, who is as she likes to call her self “a justice activist with a pinch of resilience”, posted the link to Publicis ad on her facebook wall, with the following comment:
Good concept bas enno seriously? putting a number in the end for children to call? children who don’t know how to read yet alone dial phone numbers? is this targeting parents/adults who are sometimes the abusers themselves?
when will creative agencies start using ads as educative tools targeting children rather than terrifying them?!
What does it take for the Lebanese ad agencies to step out of the ordinary, easiest idea box?
How hard is it to take full advantage of the power of media, to state the problem, and not hide behind our -middle- finger??
